Job Description

Location: Q Kansas City, Lotus, Westport Landing, Bar & Rec, Jungalow, The Horseshoe, Uncle Jim’s Pool Hall (Westport Bars). We own and operate soon-to-be nine locations in Westport.

Job Summary

We are seeking creative and results-driven Social Media Managers, Content Creators, and Photographers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a keen understanding of content creation, social media marketing, and public relations, along with proficiency in various digital tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.

  • Create compelling content tailored for different social media channels, including graphics, videos, and written posts.

  • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting updates, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.

  • Analyze performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall goals.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging platforms.

  • Coordinate advertising campaigns on social media platforms to promote products or services effectively.

  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Illustrator to enhance content quality and track performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential.

  • Strong skills in content creation and social media marketing.

  • Familiarity with public relations practices and advertising strategies is a plus.

  • Experience in e-commerce is beneficial for understanding online consumer behavior.

  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Illustrator, and web management platforms is preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box while maintaining brand consistency.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $30-$60 per hour.

  • Flexible Schedule: Options for in-person, hybrid, or remote work with full-time and part-time availability (10-40 hours per week).
